  The trick is not put too much information or their healthy brains will have a hard time copping with all the input, if I was baptised and left I would send a sarcastic letter because these arseholes gb members know whats going on, I have no sympathy for them, they are operating the machine that has blood on it's hands, and because of them my relationship with my family has worsen, to me they are just another Jim Jones playing god with people and all gb members deserve to be punished.

  In the case of gb members that were neutral, like what Franz describe in his first book, with the hope that the leadership will change and so it's message, that never happened and it wont.

  I believe Laura is doing this for her parents, all her family has shunned her, she posted videos on youtube with the hope that her family would see and communicate. Laura if you are reading this I can only imagen what you are going through, you did not do anything wrong but I think you should read Steven Hassan's books combatting cult mind control and releasing the bonds. If this is too much walk back into the "truth", I am being serious, if there is a god it judges hearts not which religion a person belongs to. Whatever you decide I hope something positive comes from this.

  I agree with undercover, WB&TS uses fear, apostates in halls will create more fear and paranoia. "oh no, it must be close to armageddom." Even meetings themselves will have a negative effect. More fear pushes jw's deeper into the "truth". But I dont know if there will be any future benefits, if these meeting gatherings will cause a person later in their life to leave. Steve Hassan wrote two books about this, I hope everyone has a copy.

  since leaving all organized religion, all superstition, all acceptance of deity, i have a terrible time truly understanding 'religious' thought.. i really do.. how is it possible for thinking people to just accept, without proof, all they accept?

  this morning i overheard a conversation between two christians in a coffee shop.

  they say to me 'dad, what's wrong with just being a nice, good person?

  (this report is from an anonymous xjw who attended the hearing.

  i had no plans to turn up to the court hearing as an observer, as in my experience, it can take several hearings and a number of months before any court case gets rolling.

  Ok, I quite dont follow, while my expertise is accounting, I had to study corporation law.

  The court wants to establish if the F&DS class is an incorporated entity (a registered company), if yes, only then can it be considered as a legal identity and bound by the Corporations Act rules and regulations.

  The F&DS can exist but can not be judged as a company. From my understanding, Toole solicitors can tell the court that they don’t exist, saying otherwise would show a lack of understanding (from a laws point of view) or a deliberate lie.

  Mr Unthank and Toole solicitors were arguing about two separate matters, while, from what was written on what occurred in court, Toole solicitors showed a lack of clarity and could have explained the F&DS class better.

  Definition of "Negativity" according to JWs

  i recently had a falling-out with a jw which i won't go into because it is nonsense really.

  in one of the pathetic retorts i was told i was "negative".

  this wasn't the first time i heard this from a jw over the years.. what i have noticed is that it is because i spoke about real life situations in the world and/or problems and wrong things in the religion.
